When I was born
I was laid on to you
The comfort I felt 
the calmness you drew


I cried on to you 
when something was not right
I punched you
when anger kept me up all night


I would study 
keeping my book on you
I would eat
on  you when I felt blue


You were my partner in crime
in revenging my brother
When he joked about me
and then you became my weapon


I hug and slept with you
as if you were a friend
You let my dreams live
without any end 


I cannot tell
how much you mean
Being there forever
so much you have seen 


Years pass by 
and you are still there
Taking different forms
but giving the same care

Should I?

Should I ask these questions or should I stop?
Should I hold on to somethings or should I let go?
Should be worried or should I be tension-free?

Should I try to change things or should I let them be?
Should I believe in reality or should I believe in dreams?
Should I raise my hands or should I raise my voice?


Should I search for the answers or should I let them find me?
Should I even believe there are answers to all the questions?
Should I? Maybe I should....

Drops of Solace

What have I been waiting for I did not know
But when it arrived I realised I knew all along
That this is where I wanted to be
With the raindrops of relief which finally were free


The sound is shrill, the smell is soothing
The pounding is hard yet so subtly serene
I felt a chill as the drops glide down my hand
This is where it all clears and I am absolved


So let me have these mystic conversations
Where will I find such a beautiful companion?!
Because I know I will pursuit the verity
When the drops of solace will come down on Me!
