What have I been waiting for I did not know
But when it arrived I realised I knew all along
That this is where I wanted to be
With the raindrops of relief which finally were free


The sound is shrill, the smell is soothing
The pounding is hard yet so subtly serene
I felt a chill as the drops glide down my hand
This is where it all clears and I am absolved

Where will I find such a beautiful companion?!

Burn me now, because I want to see
How far can I survive, how fast can I heal
The heat is coming up, sooner or later
The feeling of agony might not be greater

The flame is what you avoid to see

Who needs to be Pretty?!

I may not be pretty

I may not be beautiful

I may not be elegant

I may not be graceful

but is this what life is about

when I see all around...

its always how pretty it sounds

looks like a party

feels like a dream

life as we know

is a mirage it seems

coz reality I know

is far from where we go...

it is out of reach... out of sight

so, when I ask myself

how do I become pretty

as the world knows
